Boris Medic

With a bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas, Boris Medic brings more than 12 years of experience in technology development, engineering and design. Medic has held many senior development positions throughout his career including Vice President of Technical Operations, Senior Development Engineer, and various engineering positions with technology manufacturers such as Ericsson, Nokia, and NEC America. Prior to co-founding Advector, Medic co-founded a successful technology startup that provided advanced technology services to telecommunication operators in North America.

Shawn Grennan

Shawn Grennan has more than 13 years of executive sales management experience in the technology and communications industry. During his career Grennan has served as Vice President of Sales, Director of Global Services, and was the co-founder of a successful technology start up that provided services to clients such as AT&T and Verizon Wireless. Grennan has built a reputation for implementing customer service oriented organizations and operational support systems that deliver on commitments made to customers. Grennan has earned a bachelors degree in Business Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Advector Systems LLC was founded to design and manufacture innovative products that address the comfort needs and cost reduction goals of our customers while delivering a positive impact on the environment.

Our initial product engineering was focused on residential and commercial HVAC applications due to the sizable percentage of their energy utilization and the limited amount of available products to cost effectively address the HVAC goals of home and office owners.

Our approach was validated by Energy Star research that showed 46% of the average monthly residential energy bill is spent on heating and cooling activities and that airflow optimization ranks as a top ten methods to make a home or office more energy efficient.

The launch of the SELECT-AIR SYSTEM series of products provided home builders, architects, designers, and HVAC installation companies with an automated solution that utilized wireless technology to provide independent zone control options for every room. Testing of the SELECT-AIR SYSTEM proved that the initial design goals were accomplished as users would realize energy savings ranging from 40% to 50%. They would also experience a significant increase in the control of the HVAC system and ability to adjust for personal comfort preferences.

Advector will continue to develop products for our customers that are looking to install advanced technology that can reduce energy usage and increase comfort while providing a return on investment within 12 to 36 months of installation.
